Monthly Update for February

Coins and banknotes, two of the most common ph...Image via Wikipedia

It's that time again - time for another monthly update.

I've found a new way of making backlinks for my pages, and it really seems to be working well. I've seen about a 20% increase in traffic, and have also seen an increase in my Amazon sales, and I've only been doing it about 3 weeks now. I've got so many lenses out there, but none of them are really ranking well in Google, so I thought for the next short while, I'd change tactics and spend more time building on what I have, rather than making a bunch of new stuff that's not earning me anything.

One thing I did realize - that I'll start working on this coming month - is that I can use blog posts and other articles I've written on Associated Content and make some money from them. Most of them will just need a little bit of editing, and I can't make any upfront money from them - but they can add to my page views.

So - here's the numbers:

Freelance writing: $100
Associated Content: $2.97
Amazon: $43.28
Other affiliates: 0

Grand Total: $146.25

So - No clickbank sales this month, which is a definite bummer. I'm going to promote my OWM sites hard core this coming month, and do a ton of backlinks to those sites, so hopefully, that will make a big difference.

ALSO - I'm taking on some more freelance work, doing backlinks for someone else, so I'll be making another $50/month on that one.

Slowly, but sure, I think I can see things starting to turn a corner!

Goals for the New Year

I'm pretty sure I've already said this - but I want to have a post where I've got everything laid out clearly.

My goal for this year is to get to a point where I'm making $100/day from the internet. Right now, I'm making $8/day, so I have a way to go still.

I'm doing this through article writing, which earns me about $100/month right now, and internet marketing.

Two-fold Marketing Plan for the first 6 months:

1) One Week Marketing - to continue with the OWM method, creating a new campaign each week.
2) CCB - to continue creating one Squidoo lens weekly that fits in with the Christmas Cash Blueprint plan.  Because it's NEVER too early to start planning for Christmas sales. ;)

At the end of 6 months, I will re-evaluate, and hopefully will have enough income coming in that I can start doing some more intensive types of marketing, to include niche blogging on my own domains.

I've gone from ZERO to $250 a month in about 3 months. I really expect that number to keep growing. If you'd like to come along with me, check out PotPieGirl's One Week Marketing, and feel free to ask me any questions! Looking for something simple you can do in your spare time to make some spare change?  Check out the Squidoo Guide over on the side!

December Round Up

Here's the December Round-Up:

ClickBank income: -0-
Amazon income: $131.00
Freelance writing: $100
Assoc. Content: $9.27

Total: $240.27

And that's it. Not bad, a little less than last month, but I had more views on Associated content last month. This month's daily average was only $7.75 - But I really expect it to grow.
I'm really getting kicking with the One Week Marketing plan now.

And I'm also going to continue with the Christmas Cash Blueprint style lenses. I plan on doing one a week. That means I should have 50 done by next Christmas. Hopefully, that'll bring me some decent green for the holidays!

If you have an hour or two a week that you can devote to making a little bit of extra money, I really recommend the Christmas Cash Blueprint - it's really not just for Christmas! I'm still getting clicks on my product lenses. Check it out - its FREE, it's EASY - you lose nothing by giving it a look-see. If you're at all interested in making money on the internet, and don't know where to start, I feel it's the perfect place to get your feet wet. (I get nothing for sending you there - I just really respect Jackie Lee and the work she does helping people with internet marketing!)

Working Hard!

Whew!Image via Wikipedia

I've been working hard this week, but had a few snags over the course of the last few days.

One of the things I did was buy a domain name. I'm using it because hoplinks - the links you use to send people to the product you're supporting - are kind of ugly and shady looking. So, I created my own url - BestWaytoLearnSpanish.info that I set up to forward to the sales page of the product I'm selling. All well and good - except that the day after I got all my Squidoo lenses, articles, blogs etc. pointing at that URL - it stopped working! I was in a panic, sure I'd done something wrong - except that they had all worked the day before. Finally, I sent an email off to customer service of my domain name server, and turned out it was an issue there, an hour later they fixed it right up. Whew!

Later in the week, I was busy at work writing Ezine articles, when I hit the end of my account limit. So now, I can't proceed with anything until my account is reviewed and they raise my limit.

I'm planning on starting another blog, on another topic, and am waiting for a PLR article pack that I bought to help me with some of the content - it's supposed to be here today, if it shows up I guess i can get started on that. AND I did go ahead and do my keyword research for the campaign I've got starting tomorrow - so that'll be exciting! I guess i can just move ahead with other things while I'm waiting for this one to catch up.

Make Me Money November Round Up

Ok - here's the scoop, not really too much different from what I wrote in the other post, but I did want to have a definitive total.

Freelance Article writing - $100
Associated Content articles - $14.08 in residuals, $3.57 in upfront payments*
Christmas Cash Squidoo Lenses - 82.46
Other affiliate sales - $52.67

So, my total for the month of November is: $252.78

Wow! It might not seem like much, and it's certainly not enough to live on - but dang! I only got serious about earning money online in about the middle of October, so to already be making that much is .. just.. wow.

The thing to remember is this - and I know I said it before - Everything I do online, once I put the work in, will keep earning me money for as long as it's online. So if I can find something that sells enough to make $10 a week, that's $10 a week for however long the internet keeps working this way, and the product stays available. And I'll keep getting that $10 a week, without having to do anymore work. So, if I can find 50 products that make $10 a week? That's $500/week, that's enough for me to live on. And 100 products? That's $1000 a week, and I'm living large. Ok, maybe $1000/week doesn't seem that big to you, but since I'm in Peru, we get by on about $900/month... so $1000/week would be HUGE. (heck, $500/week would be awesome!)

If you're interested in seeing what I'm doing on Squidoo, check out one or more of these pages -

If you're interested in finding out how those pages are making me money, check out PotPieGirl's program One Week Marketing - I bought it, I've read it, I'm working it. It's not a get rich quick scheme, it's a real way to work and make money on the internet in an ethical manner. But I'm telling you now - I'm using it, and I love it. After a lifetime of being miserable working for other people and by their rules, now I'm working for me. I can't wait until I'm making enough money that my husband doesn't have to work 12-15 hour days! (That link is an affiliate link, so I will make a little money if you should buy the program - but I wouldn't be linking to it if I didn't believe in it.)

Ok... I'll get off the soap box now. :D I'm just super excited to see all my hard work is really starting to pay off - like the Tortoise and the Hare, 'Slow and Steady Wins the Race!'

*Residual is the payment I got for page views on all my articles on AC, upfront is the amount I was paid.. well, upfront, for the one article I submitted last month. (I didn't do much article writing, as I was busy with Squidoo lenses)

Make Me Money Update

OK, I received One Week Marketing yesterday, and have read through the material. I was so excited to get started, that I did :D I picked a niche and started off doing day one of the plan last night. Today, I'll be working on day two. Day two seems like a lot of work, but I'm determined to do it!

If I can explain OWM without giving away too much of PotPieGirl's info - it's basically about keyword domination - finding a small niche, and then saturating the market with your pages and your keywords, and becoming an expert in that field. What she's done though, that makes it so great for new internet marketers, is give a very simple to follow, day by day plan on exactly how to do it. (If you want to see how it works, she gives away the first 18 pages for free if you click here)

I've made another sale on my Christmas Cash Blueprint! I'm very excited about that! I've now made a total of 9 Amazon sales this month for a total of nearly $100 dollars. Not bad! It's really exciting to see the work I'm doing pay off. The really great thing is I think I can incorporate some of these Christmas lenses into One Week Marketing campaigns after Christmas is over. Here's an example of what those lenses look like - Le Creuset Round French Oven

So what everyone really wants to know - The Monthly Total so far -

Amazon - $54.74 (the newest sale hasn't shipped yet so isn't added in)
Freelance Articles - $100
Other Articles - $12

The CCB lenses seem to be picking up - I'm eager to see how things go after the weekend!
